Affectus — Appliance Server

Alba Appliance Server is an all-in-one data collection server which both collects, processes and presents data. It is delivered preinstalled and preconfigured.
The compact 1U enterprise-class rack server is designed to run in 24/7 applications, such as an outstation in a substation.
The larger models can also act as a central instation in a complete system.
The Appliance Server is completely independent of any meter vendor to simplify the incorporation of existing meters and replacing meters in the future.

User interface

All Affectus Alba systems are delivered with a web interface. Presentation, configuration, alarms, functions etc. are managed via a standard web browser.

Security

Alba Appliance Server employs several important features to maintain high security and integrity in data and access. Servers are set up to only communicate with specific devices and other servers, both in software and in hardware.

Data collection

All kinds of data are collected and stored in a SQL database — load profiles, demand values, readings, online values, events etc.

Data export

ASCII, XML, MSCONS, PQDIFF, OPC, e-mail etc.
